Leonardo Da Vinci is God’s creation made from pure scratch and of the finest dirt. He was born on April 15th, 1452 and died in May 2nd, 1519, a month after his birthday. He lived in the luxurious city of Florence; Which is ironic stating that he was a luxurious man incarnate. Leonardo is one of the major change agents of this world. His presence was wisdom itself. Even though some people say that Leonardo isn’t all that good looking in this generation, however, the generation he lived in described him as a handsome man, a man with great integrity and charming ways. Just like his sculptures, his personal beauty couldn’t be defined, as you cannot use enough exaggeration to specify his personal beauty. Critics said his movement was with grace in every step and peace presence itself. He carried himself in the most elegant manner as well as being a magnet for the woman who wanted a sample. He is also known as an extraordinary problem solver noting that every difficulty and challenge he faced, he completed it with flying colors. The people that did research on him classified him as an Italian painter, sculptor, architect, as he built many beautiful things, a wonderful elegant singer, a genius at solving mathematical problems, A brilliant engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist, and writer. There aren't enough words to describe the great Leonardo Da Vinci. What I believe that people who say they are impressive in their works; their name shouldn’t even be in the same breath as Leonardo Di Vinci.
I’m sure most of the 6.5 billion people on the face of the planet currently are familiar with one of the most beautiful paintings on the face of the planet; The Mona Lisa. The Mona Lisa to me explains the characteristics of Leonardo himself. This was the exclamation point on the lifespan of Leonardo. The other paintings of Leonardo that I believed to be overlooked are just as genetically endorsed with streaks of genius.Paintings like the last supper (Which I ironically have a replica in my household currently) really catches my eye everytime I see it. However the question I have is if the Mona Lisa and The Virgin of the rocks have similar traits as the same person I believe is sited. Leonardo didn’t follow the code of his ancestors and used the paint they used to paint beautiful pictures.Leonardo used his own paint and mediums by grounding his own pigments and mixing them in an oil base. One scientist, a young college student, stated the information of a scientist saying that Leonardo’s oils were usually popping seed oil and other solutions that mixed.A great example very close to the product Di Vinci used is Grumbacher’s Max Line has proved to be used on most luxurious houses.I don’t want you to get the idea that Leonardo used this paint on everything he painted. The paint that I stated not too long ago was the paint that he used on The Last Supper. The currency of all of his painting are of course ridiculous and me personally, I wouldn’t say they would be worth that much. The Mona Lisa however, stands at the top with a grand 780,000,000 dollars in only 1962 in the United States.
Leonardo Di Vinci was known to be the man behind the Renaissance humanist ideal. He was described as the architect of the renaissance and was the mastermind behind it.They called him, “having an unquenchable curiosity ”Because of him, the renaissance was a transformational period in European history that lasted for many, many decades. They called it a movement that began in Italy and eventually spreaded throughout the parts of Europe.Unlike all of the unfinished projects Leonardo Di Vinci had, the renaissance was one most definitely completed. He completed his task right around the sixteenth century. This impacted literacy, science, dreams and visions/philosophies, all religions, government politics and art, all in a very good way.You could say the renaissance was the beginning of genius ideas. The main figures of the renaissance were Michelangelo and Leonardo. They called Leonardo a renaissance polymath. His ideas and philosophies spread throughout wide variety of the fields of art, science and literature, some sort of wildfire or an infectious disease.
At a very early age, Leonardo decided to move to Florence to express his talent with a man who was a sculptor and painter by the name of Verrocchio. It was pretty obvious to everyone that Da Vinci’s imagination was brilliant and large. In 1481, when Da Vinci was approxiamately 30, he moved to Milan to work on, ironically, the Duke of Mulan. This was the place where he produced one of his most famous works of art and perhaps one of the most famous fresco in that time period-The Last Supper. Now one thing the catholic church did not approve of is Leonardo digging into the bodies of other people just for scraps to use on his fine art. This created a big controversy that involved Di Vinci fleeing Paris and returning to France. While residing in France, he painted perhaps one of the most beautiful paintings the world ever laid eyes on-The Mona Lisa.Until this day, Leonardo’s legacy still lives on as his extravagant pieces of art still blossom in the finest musuems today.
The tragic truths of Leonardo’s work involving with science were very hard to decode.By the time the people were done decoding Leonardo’s work: science, math, social studies, reading and writing, Leonardo had already been acquired and mandatory throughout the world, making it useless to drive it into the system.Personally I blame the government. Why can’t they be like Leonardo and strive for peace than to only think about themselves. He died on May 2nd 1519 in Italy. He will always be remembered for his vivid imagination and never say die attitude.
