Confucianism is not a religion in fact, confucianism is actually a philosophical system. The start of the confucianism revival began during the Tang Dynasty. Confucianism developed aspects on the buddhism and doaism and was reformed and renamed as neo-confucianism. this adopted as the basis of the imperial exams and the core philosophy on the song dynasty. The actual core of confucianism is humanistic. confucianism believes in importance of the family. Also focuses on cultivation of virtue and maintenance of ethics. Historically, cultures and countries strongly influenced by confucianism include mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Korea, Japan, and Vietnam along with many smaller territories. there are 5 confucian visions- I Ching or classic of change, Classic of poetry, book of documents, book of rites and spring and autumn annals. Ethics- Ren (humaneness) Yi (righteousness or justice) Li (proper rite) zhi (knowledge) xin (integrity).
