Confucianism
Born from a poor family in 551 B.C., Confucius was a philosopher that was very passionate about his ideas of how to run good flowing governments and even promoting world order. These ideas began when Confucius tried to become a member of China’s government, when he couldn't, he turned to teaching. Confucius did all of his teaching through speaking in front of his scholars, who usually wrote down some of his teachings and quotes. Through his teaching, Confucius began the idea of how people should behave in certain relationships. For example, he believed that if a ruler ran a good government or kingdom, than the people of that kingdom should be loyal and obedient in return (you scratch my back i scratch yours). Daoism (Taoism)
Daoism, also known as Taoism didn't become very well known 100 A.D. Standing along confucianism as one of the greatest philosophical systems in China, Taoism tends to focus on the aspects of nature, health, and liberty. For over 2,000 years Daoism has influenced Chinese culture and it all began back in 6th century B.C when the philosopher Laozi wrote a book on Daoism.
