Hinduism is one of those weird religions and if you so happened to be apart of that culture or religion, well no offense. What is Hinduism? Hinduism is a religion that a lot of people follow. Hinduism is a major religious and cultural tradition of South Asia. This religion is mostly in India. Hinduism is a very old religion. Hinduism was formed around c. 2000 b. c. e. Hinduism has no founder.
Meaning Hinduism was not found or created by someone. It was created by a group of people who believed in the same things and had the same beliefs. I think thats cool that a group of people can come together and create something that they all believe in and that they can all share. There are about 1,000,000,000 followers of the Hinduism religion. Hinduism grew out of the overlapping beliefs of the diverse groups who settle india. Hinduism is polytheistic. Polytheistic means more than one god. What how can hindus have one god when they have so many.
Hinduism became one of the world’s most complex religions, with countless gods and goddess and many forms of worship existing side by side. Hindus believe that everything is part of the unchanging, all powerful spiritual force called brahman. hindus worship variety of gods. For examples, Brahman, the creator, vishnu, the preserver, shiva, and the destroyer. Each of these gods can take many forms. They can take place as a human or an animal. Hinduism is a big part of India's government. Hinduism have influenced the way the people live with thing called a caste system. A caste system basically a random pick as to who is the upper class and who is the lower class. For example my family is rich not because I worked hard but because I was born in that cast system. To be honest I do not think that a fair way to decide what place a certain person has in the world. If you were told you were poor because you were born in that cast system how would you feel?
Hinduism also has the rule of karma. This means if you work hard and be as good as you can be, you can have a better life after you die. Reincarnation? What is reincarnation? Reincarnation is coming back back to life in another lifetime. Karma and reincarnation go hand and hand because if you are good in your present life, you can have a better life in your next life. I guess you might want to work hard so you get a better life.
some people think its okay to have a caste system. Having a caste system can cause a lot of problems with the government. Don't get me wrong if that’s what you believe than that’s great. This could be a problem because not everybody is getting the same resources. Which is very unfair for the people who work hard for everything they have. Do you think it is okay? I have explained hinduism but what is Hinduism to you?
