Julius Caesar was a Roman general, statesman, Consul, and notable author of Latin prose. Julius Caesar was born in Rome on July 12, 100B.C. During his hard early times when he was young Caesar family was not rich at all. When he turned 16,,Caesar dad died while putting his shoes on in the morning and Caesar became really shocked. At this time he got captured by pirates. He told them that he will crucify them if they ransom him and later they ransomed him. After the ransom him he kills them all. During the passing of his father he became very close to his mother ,Aurelia. At the time of his dads passing, Caesar made an effort to side with his countrys nobility.
As Caesar was making a triumvirate with Pompey and Crassus, the political alliance gave him much power as a whole.. Caesar tried to pay off Pompey's soldiers by giving them public lands. Not very long ago he conquered France and Belgium which allowed him to build a bigger army and begin something new that would make him the best leader of all time. But three years later, Crassus was killed in battle and then thats when the partnership was turning into a rivalry. Caesar ended up going to war against Pompey, where he led his troops across the river Rubicon on January 10-11, 49B.C . By the end of 48 B.C. Caesar pushed this rivals out italy and attacked Pompey in Egypt. where Pompey was killed. During his return to Rome, he was made dictator for life and hailed as the country's backbone.
He only served a year just before he got assassinated by two of his former enemies that were senate members for him. Members Gaius Cassius Longinus and Marcus Junius Brutus led the assassination of Julius Caesar on March 15, 44 B.C. Caesar didn't know that they had plans to kill him. they had to act fast because caesar was planned to leave for Rome on March 18 for a military campaign. He wanted to avenge the losses of Crassus because he had got killed in a battle. Brutus had plans to kill him after Caesar had beaten Pompey in a battle. When Caesar died there became a power struggle in the Rome, and led to the downfall of the Roman republic. Few years later he became the first roman figure to defied. He had finally got the title “The Divine Julius”.
